An easy way to add these codes to the list in the Sinedots Filter

1. Go to the folder where you put the Sinedots Filter files.
2. Find the Sinedots.cfg file. Click on it to open it.
3. When you get the dialog box asking you which program you want to open it with, choose Notepad from the pull-down list.
4. When you read the Notepad file, you will see that all the settings for the presets in Sinedots are listed there exactly the way I have done mine above.
5. Copy and paste each list under the bows (from 'name' to 'Inverse' etc) into the notepad file and Save.

When you next open the Sinedots I Filter - all my settings will be in there under the names I have given them. If they do NOT show up, please check that you have installed the filter correctly as per the text file - including activating the AssignPath.exe by clicking on it and assigning the correct path!

CREATING A BOW

1. Create a new canvas - 200 x 200 pixels, Colour Black.

2. Click on Selection/All.

3. Click on Effect/Dragonfly/Sinedots.

Apply the settings for the bow of your choice from the list above.

I have used Bow 4 for the tutorial but the general instructions are the same for each bow.

(If you are going to use this bow in future, Save the setting with the name of the bow at this point).

Click OK.

4. Click on Format/Data Type/ Grayscale (8-bit). Close the original canvas (without saving).

5. Open a new, white canvas. Click on Selection/Import Selection. Click OK in the box that opens.

6. Right Click/Convert to object.

7. Click on Fill - and fill the selection with the single colour or gradient of your choice. Try various two colour, Multiple and Magic Gradients - some work well - some don't!

8. You can drag your finished bow to the Easy Palette for future use if you wish.

Tip:
To eliminate 'jaggies' from the edges of your bow, make the bow larger than you are finally going to use it, then use the Transform/Resize Tool to shrink the bow.
A finished bow Another version of Bow 3!

Using Cut and Paste + Transform Tool/Resize and Rotate to make multiples of the original bow and then combining them in a single bow.
Well done!
