Peacock Mornings was written in 1977 and catalogues, in 8 songs, the development of a relationship from 1974 - 76. It IS a Love Song in every sense of the word - covering everything from romance to emnity, from jealousy to hate, from elation to despair - but it's more than that... It is the story of two people whose hearts touched one another instinctively - and somehow kept hold during three turbulent years... despite denial and defiance, tears and tantrums, frustration and obsession... and evolved into a friendship that endures to this day.... Peacock Mornings was performed as a single number - taking approximately 25 minutes to sing and play. It's title was taken from the fabulous colours in some of the dawn skies over the island of Jersey in the spring of 1975.
